I want to know about the Curriculum.

  1. There are 4 Levels in Dora’s English Adventure.
    • Level 1 is rcommended for children learning English for the first time
    • Level 2 is recommended for children learning basic words
    • Level 3 is recommended for children learning short sentences
    • Level 4 is recommended for children who can speak and apply short sentences
  2. Each Level covers 6 Topics.
    • Level 1 has 6 Topics.
    • Level 2 has 7 Topics including one review lesson covering Levels 1 and 2.
    • Level 3 has 6 Topics.
    • Level 4 has 7 Topics including one review lesson covering Levels 3 and 4.
  3. Each Topic includes 4 Episodes.
    • Each Topic offers 4 Episodes covering phonics, vocabulary, sentences, and review songs and is designed for a systematic ‘repeat and learn’ experience.
  4. Number of Episodes
    • Dora’s English Adventure has 104 Episodes in total.

It takes too long to download Episodes.

Downloading speed depends on the network status. We recommend that you start downloading with a stable Wi-Fi connection.

How do I delete saved Episodes?

You can delete Episodes from ‘My Ep’ tab. You can delete them by pressing the ‘Delete’ button for few seconds.

What's the difference between a Member and Guest?

Members & Guests

Every user who installs Dora’s English Adventure automatically becomes a Guest. You can choose to become a Member by signing up any time after that for free.

Membership Benefits

As a Member, you can register up to 3 Profiles while a Guest can create only 1 profile. A Member can also check learning status and reports cards while these features are unavailable to Guests. We store all purchase records of our Members and will be synced regardless of which device you use to play however purchase records of Guests are not available when accessed from a different device.

I want to know about the Guest Mode.

If you buy Passes as a Guest, all purchase records will be deleted when you uninstall the app and therefore you will not be able to retrieve your purchases on other devices.

* However, if you sign up as a Member, all purchase records will be stored which you can access from any device once you log in. You can also manage your purchase records even after deleting the app, so we recommend you to make purchases after registering as a Member.

* All users who do not register as a Member will be automatically be registered as Guests.

I forgot my username.

Please send us an email to support-dla@blueark.com and tell us how you signed up (via email, Facebook or Google and the email address you used to register. We will check our system to see if there is a username associated with information you provided.

I forgot my password.

You can reset your password from the login page. We will send you an email in which you can change your password. Please note that you cannot reset your password if you signed up via Facebook or Google.

How do I change my password?

Go to Parents’ Menu > Settings > Change password to can change your password.

* If you signed up via Facebook or Google, you cannot change your password in Dora’s English Adventure.

I requested a new password but did not receive any email.

Please check your spam mail box and if the problem persists, please send an e-mail to support-dla@blueark.com.

What is a Profile?

What is a Profile?

A Profile is assigned to each user in order to manage their study records. If you have more than 2 kids, you can set individual profiles for them and manage their study records independently.

Can I delete or edit a Profile?

You can freely edit or delete Profiles as long as you have 1 Profile.

How many Profiles can I create?

Members can create up to 3 Profiles and Guests can have 1 Profile.

How can I edit a Profile?

You can edit Profile details by clicking ‘Profile’ button at the top right, followed by ‘Edit’ button.

What is a Pass?

If you run out of Hearts and can no longer play an episode for free, you must purchase a Pass. Each Pass permits various access period as follows.

With One Day Pass, you can access all Episodes on Dora’s English Adventure for one day.

With One Month Pass, You can access all Episodes on Dora’s English Adventure for a month.

With One Year Pass, you can access all Episodes on Dora’s English Adventure for a year.

With Lifetime Pass, you can access all Episodes on Dora’s English Adventure for good!

What can I do if I double-purchased a Pass?

After you had purchased a One Month Pass then you purchased:

  1. An additional One Month Pass, the duration will be extended for one additional month after the initial One Month Pass expires.
  2. An additional One Year Pass, the duration will be extended for one additional year after the initial One Month Pass expires.
  3. An additional Lifetime Pass, you can use all the features on Dora’s English Adventure for good. The 1 Month Pass previously purchased will not be refunded.

After you had purchased a One Year Pass then you purchased:

  1.  An additional One Month Pass, the duration will be extended for one additional month after the initial One Year Pass expires.
  2. An additional One Year Pass, the duration will be extended for one additional year after the initial One Year Pass expires.
  3. An additional Lifetime Pass, you can use all the features on Dora’s English Adventure for good. The One Year Pass previously purchased will not be refunded.

* Our system automatically disables additional pass purchases once you have purchased a Lifetime Pass.

How do I know when my Pass will expire?

After you purchase a Pass, you will see the the remaining access period at the top of Home Screen.

Can I get a refund?

Refund Policy is the same as your respective app store, may that be Apple or Google. You can request a refund to each store within 7 days of purchase.

* You cannot request for a refund in the following cases: 1. If it has been more than 7 days after purchase 2. If you have acquired/activates content history then downloaded/played the content.

What are Report Cards?

  1. Episode Cards: Every episode is complemented with an Episode Card which tells you about the episode content, completion date, vocabulary learnt and more.
  2. Report Cards: You can check how your kids’ English is improving by viewing their learning progress and results.
  3. Usage Statistics: You can check your kids’ favorite episodes and songs and compare their daily average study hours and sessions to their overall average and use this information to manage their mobile learning habits.

I want to view my other child's Report Cards.

All viewable Reports & Statistics are based on the currently selected Profile. If you wish to view other child’s Reports & Statistics, please go to Profile Settings at the top right corner of the main screen and select the relevant Profile. You will then be able to view the Reports & Statistics associated with the newly selected Profile.

I can only view the sample Report Card.

You can only view the sample Reports & Statistics if you have not signed up or your kids have not played any Episodes yet. Please sign up or if you have, help your kids to start playing the Episodes.

What are Hearts?

Hearts are basically points that can be used to play episodes for free. In order to play 1 episode, you need 10 Hearts. Once you play an episode using Hearts, you will have unlimited access to the Episode for 24 hours. If you click on the ‘Heart’ at the top of the Home Screen, you can view a variety of Heart missions. You will receive Hearts once you have completed various Heart missions such as signing up, checking-in daily and so on. You can also see the total number of Hearts you have at the top of the screen.

How can I find out my username or Guest Number?

In order to view your username, go to Parents’ Menu > Login Information > Check Login ID.

In order to view your Guest Number, go to Parents’ Menu > Settings > Guest Information > Check Guest Number

* All users who have not signed up are automatically registered as Guests.

What is 'Select Audio/Captions' in Language Settings?

What is ‘Select Audio/Captions’?

Dora’s English Adventure offers its episodes in Chinese and English audio and captions. You can easily change your settings anytime. If you choose to turn off the captions, none will be displayed.

How do I change audio and captions options?

1. Parents’ Menu > Settings > Language Settings
